“Master Restaurateur”,

How did Puy de la Lune get the title?

We adhere to the ethics and principles of this community of restaurateurs.

Created in 2007 at the initiative of the Ministry of SMEs, Trade and Crafts, the title of Maître Restaurateur is the only title issued by the State for French catering.

This label, included in the Consumer Law, is based on specifications which combine professionalism and qualifications of the Chef, traceability and seasonality of the products.

The title now includes nearly 3,300 restaurateurs spread across mainland France and the overseas departments. It rewards establishments of excellence, from inns to gourmet restaurants. All guarantee authentic cuisine.

An audit takes place in the establishment as soon as the request is made. It is based on the 3 aspects of catering: the kitchen, the dining room and the service. After validation, the title is granted by the Prefect for a renewable period of 4 years.

This title of Master Restaurateur therefore honors all the staff of PUY DE LA LUNE who have strived every day for 18 years to bring happiness to their customers.
